In addition to telling the interviewer about yourself. In addition to their education and the items on their résumé, candidates should be ready for some additional inquiries. Some of them are listed below.
Have you ever conducted a SWOT analysis (Strengths Weaknesses Opportunity Threat)?
Who serves as your example?
Where do you envision yourself in five years?
What methods and abilities set you apart from others?
Which historical figure from the past do you dislike, and why?
Factors to Avoid
Despite the fact that the interviewer’s request to “tell me about yourself” may seem vague, there are certain facts about you as a candidate that they are interested in learning, while other aspects of your life may be irrelevant or even inappropriate to discuss.
Not every detail about you must be known to the interviewer. Don’t discuss personal matters with the interviewer unless they are directly relevant to the school or university.
Talking about your friends, family, or other aspects of your life that don’t show how you may help students is not appropriate.
You should also refrain from criticising the school or giving the impression that you don’t want to go there.
