David Lorenz established Lunaz in 2019 with the intention of converting vintage cars to electric power. However, the company’s scope has now grown to encompass trucks and industrial vehicles.
Beckham commissioned the company to convert one of his cars after making an investment in it.

The company declared in March that it was going to cease production due to the government’s decision to postpone the 2030–2035 prohibition on gasoline and diesel automobiles.
The portion of the business that turned garbage trucks into power entered receivership.
Lunaz declared that it was “currently restructuring to adjust its business and operations in response to shifting market dynamics” at that time.
