Former Brighton manager, Chris Hughton, is not in the country for the vacant Black Stars job.

The 63-year-old is in Ghana for holidays, where he met family and friends as well as the father of Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi.

GHANASoccernet can confidently report that, Hughton had planned on coming to Ghana last December but COVID-19 restricted him from traveling.

His arrival in Accra coincidentally came at a time when the Black Stars are in search of a new coach following the sacking of Milovan Rajevac.

Hughton has been unattached since leaving Nottingham Forest in 2021, but he has not made a decision to assume a new role since.

Meanwhile, the search for a new Black Stars coach continues with several names including Otto Addo mentioned in media.

It is also reported that some high ranking members in government are trying to get Chris Hughton make a decision to coach the Black Stars.
