On September 21, the first day of the “Occupy Julorbi House” protest, the police used various methods to suppress it. At numerous police stations across the city, a number of demonstrators were taken into custody. However, the next day saw the liberation of all 49 prisoners.
The “Democracy Hub” pressure group staged the three-day “Occupy Julorbi House” demonstration in an effort to persuade the President and members of the Economic Management Team to solve economic mismanagement and corruption concerns in the government.
