The attorney claimed that after weeks of representing Agradaa, real name Patricia Oduro Koranteng, he made the choice to part ways with her.

He would not say when their paths first crossed, only that it was after a visit to Agradaa’s home that he felt his spirit was not at ease in the former priestess’ setting as a born-again Christian.

He said to Kofi Adoma of Kofi TV, “Agradaa, I implore you, she took me as her lawyer for a few weeks.”

“I visited her at her home. Because I am a born-again Christian and I didn’t feel at ease in her atmosphere, I ceased serving as her attorney, he continued.

On October 13, 2022, Agradaa, the founder and head of Heavenway Champion Ministries International, is scheduled to appear in court on two counts of defrauding by false pretenses.

This occurs after she was sent into detention for a three-day period by an Accra Circuit Court on Monday.

Following widespread rumors that Agradaa had deceived some churchgoers in an alleged money-doubling scheme, she was detained last Sunday.

The victims claim that after she advertised to give them multiples of their offerings, they attended her church and donated money in varying quantities.

Charlatanic advertisement is one of the accusations against Agradaa, who entered a not-guilty plea during the court’s last session.

She claims that because she never deceived anyone as was claimed, she is innocent of the charges.
