In recent weeks, discussions have emerged surrounding the presence of fake pastors in Ghana.

The catalyst for these discussions arose when Kofi Pages, during a TikTok live session, labelled Prophet Azuka, also known as Prophet Ogya Nyame, the leader and founder of Shining Grace Chapel International, as a scammer and a fake pastor.

This incident sparked a feud between Kofi Pages and Prophet Azuka, prompting the latter to cast curses upon Kofi Pages in response to the accusations.

Reacting to this situation, Twene Jonas, a Ghanaian social media commentator based in the United States, criticized Prophet Azuka and branded him as fake and devoid of power.

Twene Jonas went on to issue a warning that he would take action to destroy Prophet Azuka’s church if the cleric attempted to challenge or insult him.

During his commentary, Twene Jonas took the opportunity to mention several pastors in Ghana whom he believes are also fake and powerless, misleading the Ghanaians.

He specifically pointed out Pastor Mensa Otabil, the leader and founder of International Central Gospel Church; Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, the Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of United Denominations of Action Chapel International; Prophet Badu Kobi, the leader and founder of Glorious Wave Church International; and Rev Owusu Bempah, the founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry. He characterized these individuals as sham pastors lacking any genuine authority.

Twene Jonas concluded his statements by vowing to confront any pastors or spiritual figures who sought to exploit innocent Ghanaians by tricking them out of their money.
