Ghanian and Ajax star man Kudus Mohammed is set to join English premier league side Brighton and Hove Albion after reaching an agreement with the club in principle.

Information coming from popular English Journalist David Ornstein indicates Brighton and Hove Albion has reached a deal in principle to land the services of the Black Stars midfielder on a record fee of 400 million Euros.

Brighton and Hove Albion are expected to pay $44 million to Ajax, this amount will surpass the club’s transfer record fee of under £30 million the club paid to sign Joao Pedro.

The report says Kudus Mohammaed is very close to agreeing on personal terms with Brighton and Hove Albion with the coach Roberto De Zerbi eyeing the Ghanaian international as a key member of his team next for the season.

Kudus Mohammed has attracted a lot of interest from many clubs in Europe after his stalling performance with Ajax last season.

He was one of the highly sought-after players after the world cup in Qatar.

Europe giants like Chelsea have all been linked to secure the signature of the 23-year-old star. Brighton and Hove Albion appear to be the destination of the young star.

Kudus Mohammed attracted the interest from Chelsea last month but the move could not sail through.

In May this year, his agent Jennifr Mendelewitsch publicly declared Kudus’ desire to leave the club.

The agent stated it was the right time for the youngster to leave Ajax after his tremendous career with the Dutch giants.

Kudus Mohammed’s season with Ajax saw him score 18 goals with 7 assists for the Dutch giants Ajax last season.
