Mr. Trump was a prolific tweeter up until the January 2021 riots on Capitol Hill, when he was banned for encouraging violence on the internet.

In October of 2022, Ye was banned for making anti-Semitic comments.

For his bigoted comments, including those that implied women should take blame for sexual assault, Andrew Tate was banned from various online communities.

Mr. Tate and I have both taken to tweeting.

Mr. Musk had previously stated that until a moderating board was constituted, no decision would be made about banned accounts.

After months of negotiation, on October 28 he finally closed on his $44 billion purchase of Twitter.

Following an email stating that long hours and “hardcore” labour would be expected of those who remained, he has since laid off half of the firm’s 7,500-strong employees. It is also thought that hundreds more staff have since gone.

Mr. Musk claims that Twitter usage is at an all-time high, but there is no way to verify this claim now that the communications department has been disbanded.
