The Forestry Commission has debunked claims that a lion escaped the confines of the Accra Zoo on Sunday, August 28.

In an explanation, the Commission made sense of that a gatecrasher came to the office and entered the internal fencing of the lions nook.

This prompted one of the lions going after the moderately aged man and killing him.

Notwithstanding, the Forestry Commission expressed that Accra Zoo authorities figured out how to persuade the lions into their fenced in area for the police to convey the body of the gatecrasher.

The lions stay secure in their nook, the assertion said.
