The nomination process will begin on May 26 for the eagerly awaited flagbearership primary, according to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The party has said that the nominations would end on June 24, 2023.
On November 4, 2023, the National Congress will be held to pick the party’s presidential nominee.
Aside from that, the party has also disclosed the schedule for the parliamentary primaries in both orphan and MP-held constituencies.
On June 16, 2023, nominations for orphan constituencies will be accepted; they will expire on July 14, 2023. The election period is from August 1 to December 2, 2023.
