Salis Abdul Samed, a midfielder for Racing Club de Lens, responded to Ghana’s narrow victory over the Taegeuk Warriors of South Korea on Monday.

At the Education City Stadium in Al Wakrah, the Black Stars side defeated the Asian superpower 3-2 thanks in large part to the box-to-box midfielder’s energetic play.

 

After Ghana defeated South Korea today, he tweeted, “Until the last second, Thanks for the support.”

After dominating in the French Ligue 1 for his team this season, he has joined the Ghana World Cup squad in preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup competition in Qatar.

With his jaw-dropping performances against the European powerhouse Portugal and the Asian superpower South Korea, he has become a pivot for the Ghanaian team in the middle of the field.
