Maeta, an American singer, was bitten by a snake during a video shoot, according to a video posted online.

The Roc Nation artist was seen lying down on the floor with two snakes on her chest in the video.

The snake that was already on her chest, however, jumped up rashly when the second snake touched it and bit the singer on the chin.

 

This caused her to writhe in agony and expel the snakes from her body. It is believed that the snake’s venom was removed prior to the shoot, making it non-hazardous.

Maeta posted the video to her Instagram account, lamenting the difficulties she faces in creating creative videos for her fans.

She wrote, “what I go through to make videos for y’all”.
