One of the 26 players chosen by Ghana head coach Otto Addo for the 2022 FIFA World Cup is the Arsenal midfield enforcer.

There will be high expectations for the former Atletico Madrid player at this year’s World Cup due to his exceptional performance in the English Premier League.

Coach Otto Addo rested Thomas Partey for Thursday’s friendly match between Ghana and Switzerland before the world cup.

It was a recognition of the midfielder’s value to his squad.

It is not surprising that he has been cited as one of Qatar’s best players for the 2022 FIFA World Cup together with Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar Jr.
