Ghanaians on the internet are currently in a jolly mood following Guinness World Records’ first official statement about Chef Faila.

Chef Faila started her cookathon attempt on the eve of new year and continued to cook for an impressive 9 hours and 11 days.

Just a few hours ago, she turned off the gas based on the advice from her doctors after cooking for a staggering 227 hours and 2 minutes.

Amidst the many congratulatory messages from Ghanaians, entertainment critic Olele Salvador also took to his Twitter timeline to applaud Chef Faila for a job well done.

Commenting under Olele’s tweet, Guinness World Record confirmed that it recognizes Chef Faila’s cookathon attempt.
