Lo and behold, following that warning, the President has announced in a statement that he’s not signing the bill, citing an impending Supreme Court challenge of the bill’s legality.

The announcement infuriated Ghanaians who dragged the President.

“Mr. President, you simply have 1 job… just sign the bill and leave the TRMU people should cry in court… Ghana over Trmu,” one netizen said.

Another said: “Fix the roads and the economy. Clean up the country. Enforce the laws and end corruption,”
