Scores of occupants at Mamobi in Accra have been left abandoned in front of an arranged removal and destruction practice planned for Sunday, August 29, 2022.

 

Some of the residents have started packing out but say they have nowhere to go 

The activity is set to be attempted by the Ayawaso North Municipal Assembly to recover a few 15.7 sections of land of government land infringed by vagrants.

In front of Sunday’s activity, GhanaWeb TV visited the local where large number of families risk being uprooted.

Addressing a portion of the inhabitants, they claimed that the gathering neglected to give them sufficient opportunity to empty from the land.

As indicated by the inhabitants, they were presented with a 21-day notice from barely a month ago which lapses on Sunday.
