OSP publishes a new statement regarding Cecilia Dapaah’s case in light of “new revelations.”

Regarding the ongoing investigation into alleged corruption and offenses related to corruption involving the former Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has issued a fresh statement.

The focus of the investigation is on substantial monetary sums that were allegedly taken from her home.

On July 20, 2023, the OSP opened an investigation into the situation.

Since then, tremendous progress has been achieved, including Ms. Dapaah’s arrest and searches of two homes connected to her.

The OSP has chosen to release an updated statement in order to inform the public of recent events and “new revelations” found during the inquiry.

The OSP stated in the statement that after the inquiry is over, the public would be informed of its findings.

“On Thursday, July 20, 2023, the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) began an investigation into alleged acts of corruption and crimes related to corruption involving Cecilia Abena Dapaah, a former minister of sanitation and water resources, in relation to sizable cash sums purportedly taken from her home.
