The NPP sought to bring down all of my other enterprises and destroyed my banks. Doctor Duffuor

The former governor of the Bank of Ghana claimed that because the NPP has harmed most of his enterprises, it makes no sense for him to support them.

This comes after his opponents falsely claimed that he had sponsorship for his campaign to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He claims that he has not received funding from the NPP to demolish the NDC, which he helped to create.

As part of his four-day campaign in the Ashanti region, he revealed this to the party’s delegates in the Adansi Asokwa Constituency.

However, Dr. Duffuor pleaded with the party faithful, especially the delegates, to ignore the divisive campaign his opponents are spreading among party members.

“Nothing can alter my passion for the NDC since I funded it, hence I am the NDC. My banks were devastated by the NPP, and they attempted to bring down all of my enterprises. I want to let you know that I have been harmed by the NPP more than any other party member. I will never be used by the NPP to overthrow the NDC. To improve Ghana, my main goal is to put the NDC back in power, Dr. Duffuor reaffirmed.

By thumb-printing #3 on the ballot, he begged the party members to support him so he could lead the party into the election of 2024 on Saturday, May 13, 2023.
