The Office of the Special Prosecutor has promptly begun an inquiry into Mr. Charles Adu Boahen’s actions and those of any other parties mentioned in the investigative exposé “Galamsey Economy.”
Mr. Adu Boahen was dismissed by President Nana Akufo-Addo on Monday following accusations that he wanted money to set up a meeting between undercover operatives acting as investors and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to Tiger Eye PI’s findings, Mr. Boahen offered giving Bawumia a $200,000 appearance fee in exchange for meeting the investors.
